The story behind the mix

The shoreline hums with bass. Down by Ibiza’s Talamanca Bay, the night air carries the scent of salt and neon as house music drifts from beach bars to super-clubs. Talamanca Nights 2024 captures that moment when the island exhales — deep grooves rolling beneath bright, soulful vocals and late-summer euphoria.

The journey begins with The System’s “You Are in My System” (Kerri Chandler Remix), a nod to classic roots reimagined for the modern floor. Low Steppa, Miguel Migs, and GW Harrison pick up the rhythm, weaving slick basslines and crisp percussion into pure Balearic motion. Mid-set, Louie Vega & The Martinez Brothers deliver “Let It Go,” giving way to the infectious pulse of Martin Ikin & Hayley May’s “How I Feel.” Each mix flows effortlessly — the kind of pacing that turns a casual beach drink into a 4 a.m. dance.

There’s nostalgia too: Montego Bay’s “Everything” (S-Tone Mix) glows with 90s warmth before Gorgon City, Eats Everything, and The Blessed Madonna lift the night into full celebration. By the time DJ Spen & Tasha LaRae’s “Wish I Didn’t Miss You” closes the set, the sun is threatening to rise, the crowd is still swaying, and Ibiza feels infinite.
