Notes about the mix

Returning to Destino felt instantly familiar. Perched above Cap Martinet, with wide views across the sea towards Ibiza Town and Formentera, it remains one of the most beautiful places on the island to spend a day. The white architecture, open terraces and sense of space give it a polished feel, but the atmosphere is still relaxed enough to lose track of time.

This mix captures that slower side of the hotel. Warm, understated house provides the soundtrack to long afternoons by the pool, drinks in the shade and the constant movement of boats across the water below. It is designed to unfold gradually, reflecting a day with no fixed plan beyond staying exactly where you are.

Returning in 2018 reminded me why Destino had stayed so clearly in my memory. Some places change with every visit, while others simply confirm that you were right about them the first time.
